Johnston Small Arms 

I would like to introduce our service at Johnston Small Arms. Johnston Small Arms located in Northwood, NH employs the service and expertise of more than 70 years of cumulative gunsmithing experience.

  Our specialties include restoration of antiques and older arms, including welding, utilizing MIG, TIG and Acetylene, as well as silver soldering.

  We also offer a full line of restoration services including: Bluing, Hot-salt, Rust bluing, Nitre bluing, Browning and Parkerizing. We are able to provide anything from a high-polish finish to a “hunter” matte finish.

  We have a machine shop with the necessary equipment to machine and fabricate parts should replacements be unavailable. We can rebarrel and rechamber depending upon caliber.

  Stock restorations and repairs are offered with an emphasis to preserve original manufacturers’ integrity. We offer checkering, or repointing of checkering worn from years of honest use. Our goal is to restore and preserve the original design, and replace only when necessary.

  Johnston Small Arms is looking to creat partnerships with other local firearm enthusiasts. Johnston Small Arms works with other small professional dealers, and you our customers to provide prompt, quality service, ensuring full customer satisfaction, with professional discounts given for work provided.

  Johnston Small Arms is a growing business with a goal towards developing partnerships with like minded FFL’s, collectors and private owners. Our goal is to preserve your guns and your right to bear arms. We will soon be offering NRA approved Home Firearm Safety and Pistol courses, taught by myself and 2 other NRA instructors here at Johnston Small Arms.
